About the Job

Mahler Machining Ltd is seeking an experienced Machinist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC turning, milling, and multi-axis machining centers.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC machines to produce high-precision components
  • Work with tight tolerances (microns to 5 thou) to ensure accurate and precise results
  • Check machined parts and read technical drawings to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Fulfill detailed paperwork and record dimensions accurately
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace and machine
  • Perform basic maintenance on machines and equipment
  • Work collaboratively with other machinists to support team goals and objectives
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth production
  • Deburr and polish parts as needed
Requirements
  • Experience working with CNC machines and turning, milling, and multi-axis machining centers
  • Ability to work with tight tolerances and ensure accurate and precise results
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to read technical drawings and check machined parts
  • Basic maintenance skills and ability to perform routine maintenance
