Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Road Maintenance Technician to join our Infrastructure Management team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing roads and other infrastructure assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on roads, bridges, and other infrastructure assets.
  • Operate heavy equipment such as trucks, excavators, and cranes to perform maintenance and repairs.
  • Conduct inspections of roads and infrastructure assets to identify potential issues and develop maintenance plans.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure that maintenance and repairs are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of experience in infrastructure maintenance and repair preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.

Work Environment

The employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk on a wide range of surfaces, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear. Ability to work in extreme temperatures and weather conditions.
