Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Miner Lead/Supervisor to join our team at Cementation Canada. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient execution of construction and maintenance tasks at our mine sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of construction and maintenance crews to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of activities.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any safety or operational issues.
  • Provide training and guidance to crew members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Monitor and report on progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a construction or supervisory role, preferably in the mining industry.
  • Proven track record of safety leadership and a strong commitment to safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address complex issues.
