Supervisor of Metal and Mineral Products

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor to join our team at Gold Reserve Canada Inc. in the Primary Metal and Mineral Products Processing department.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers in the metal and mineral processing department.
- Establish work schedules and ensure efficient production processes.
- Prepare and review production reports to identify areas for improvement.
- Recommend personnel actions, including hiring and promotions, to ensure a skilled and motivated team.
- Train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Oversee the requisitioning and ordering of materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Ensure the safety of operations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to distinguish between colours and maintain attention to detail.
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday.
- Repetitive tasks.
- Handling heavy loads.
- Physically demanding work environment.
- Manual dexterity required.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
