We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Transfer Attendant to join our team at Priority Patient Transfer Service in Kingston, ON. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of patients to and from healthcare facilities, nursing homes, and private residences.
Key Responsibilities- Transport patients via stretcher and wheelchair to and from healthcare facilities, nursing homes, and private residences
- Ensure the safety and well-being of patients during transportation
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge
- Standard First Aid with CPR + AED certification
- Minimum Class G driver's license with a clear Drivers Abstract
- Current immunization record, including Tetanus, Diphtheria, Hepatitis B, and Poliomyelitis
- Able to lift 250 lbs with a partner
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, and weekends
- Competitive hourly rate of $18.30
