Job Summary

Komatsu Mining Corp. is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team in Prince George, BC. As a key member of our field services team, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing our mining equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance, repair, and service of mining equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, HVAC, and electrical systems
  • Adjust, repair, or replace defective equipment parts, components, or systems
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Requirements
  • Journeyperson HDET or Millwright certification with Red Seal
  • 4-7 years of experience in mining, construction, or dealership
  • Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical systems
  • No restrictions for access to mine sites
  • Good organizational and planning skills
  • Strong standard for quality and safety
