Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PMO Manager to lead our Security Technology projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of security technology projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead and manage a portfolio of security technology projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and business priorities.
  • PMO Standards: Establish and maintain PMO standards, processes, and methodologies to ensure consistency and quality across all projects.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring proactive measures are in place to address potential issues.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate and manage resources effectively, ensuring the right skills are applied to the right projects at the right time.
  • Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, providing regular project updates and status reports.
  • Performance Tracking: Track and report on project performance, including budget, timeline, scope, and quality metrics.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO, leveraging lessons learned and best practices to enhance project delivery.
  • Team Development: Mentor and develop project managers and coordinators, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

Requirements:

  • Education: Post Secondary Education in a related field or work equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3- 5 years of project management experience
  • PMO Leadership: PMO leadership experience within the security technology industry, is an asset
  • Certification: PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.

    • Security Technologies: Strong understanding of security technologies and trends.
    • Project Management: Proven ability to manage complex projects and programs.
    • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Project Management Software: Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project).
    • Leadership: Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
    • Leadership Qualities: Strong leadership qualities and the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
