About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at Bright Edge Construction. As a key member of our crew, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Site Preparation: Assist in erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • Mixing and Pouring: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as required.
  • Demolition Support: Assist in demolishing buildings and structures as part of our construction projects.
  • Site Cleanup: Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites, ensuring a safe and clean working environment.
  • Traffic Management: Direct traffic at or near construction sites, ensuring the safety of workers and the general public.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Pressure: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high expectations.
  • Physical Demands: Perform physically demanding tasks, including handling heavy loads and working in various weather conditions.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain attention to detail and accuracy in your work, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve project goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Work Hours: 32 to 44 hours per week.
