Job Overview:

The Moving Assistance Specialist plays a crucial role in the efficient loading and unloading of household items, including boxes and furniture, while ensuring a positive and courteous experience for clients.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional customer service to all clients Maintain respect for clients' property and workspace Assist in the packing of personal belongings Adhere to all relevant policies and regulations during packing, loading, and unloading processes Maintain clear communication with the driver regarding ongoing activities Efficiently load and unload items, ensuring proper tagging, listing, padding, and protection of furniture Follow safety protocols and comply with Gardewine's safe work practices Undertake additional tasks as needed to achieve organizational goals

Required Qualifications

Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities, with the capacity to meet the physical demands of the role. Previous experience in loading and unloading household or office furniture and specialty items is preferred. A proven track record of effective teamwork is essential.

Physical Demands

Candidates must be capable of lifting, moving, and maneuvering boxes, furniture, and office equipment as necessary. This includes bending, lifting, carrying, twisting, and navigating stairs while handling weight.
