About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Market Analyst to join our team at Altus Group. As a key member of our Commercial Transactions Database team, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth research on commercial property sales in the Greater Calgary or Edmonton Areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough market research on commercial property sales, including online and phone-based research.
  • Perform detailed analysis of commercial property sales data.
  • Build relationships with industry professionals, including brokers, stakeholders, planners, and developers.
  • Contribute to the publication of weekly market reports and data in industry publications.
  • Attend industry events to stay up-to-date on market trends and developments.
  • Perform site inspections to collect information on building details.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of commercial real estate activity, including sales and listings, in the Greater Calgary or Edmonton Areas.
Requirements
  • University degree in Urban Planning, Real Estate, Business, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate.
  • Past experience in the brokerage industry is an asset.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are required.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to be detail-oriented and organized.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish trusted relationships with industry professionals.
  • Proficient in the use of database and word processing applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
