As a Business Development Analyst at Nutrien, you will work with multiple stakeholders to collect relevant information for consideration in financial analysis and business case development. You will create and deliver presentations which concisely summarize analysis and conclusions for management's decision-making purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and update comprehensive accurate financial models to measure strategic investment opportunities across the nitrogen & phosphate business units.
  • Maintain reporting and drive governance for the N&P investment portfolios.
  • Develop strong relationships with key business partners across N&P business units.
  • Superior analytical skills with capacity to identify, scope and solve complex problems.
  • Interface with various levels of management and leadership.
  • Balance multiple projects in an evolving environment, effectively managing competing priorities to deliver quality work on time.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of related and progressive work experience in a business or financial analysis role.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related area and post-graduate designation (or working towards) such as a CFA, CPA, CBV or MBA in Strategy, Finance or similar.
  • Experience in designing and utilizing complex financial models.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Experience with SAP, HANA, Hyperion, Power Query and Power BI would be an asset.
