Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead our Health, Education, and Community Services department at Kidsfirst Childcare Centre. Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Provide strategic direction and oversight to the department, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and goals.
    • Lead and manage a team of professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Policy Development and Implementation
    • Develop and implement policies and programs that promote the health, education, and well-being of children and families.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that policies and programs are effective and meet the needs of the community.
  • Financial Management
    • Oversee the department's budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to support the delivery of services.
    • Develop and manage financial plans, ensuring that the department operates within budget.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including community partners, government agencies, and other organizations.
    • Communicate effectively with staff, stakeholders, and the community, ensuring that information is shared in a timely and transparent manner.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as education, social work, or public health.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a healthcare or education setting.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
    • Ability to develop and implement policies and programs that promote the health, education, and well-being of children and families.
    • Strong financial management skills, with the ability to develop and manage budgets.
