Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Transport Vehicle Mechanic to join our team at Summit Trailer Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing commercial transport vehicles, ensuring they are in good working condition and meet safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Discuss work with supervisor and review work orders
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service and test units to specifications
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
  • Coach and instruct apprentices
Requirements
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate
  • Truck and Transport Mechanic Red Seal Endorsement
  • Level three, four, and five apprenticeship training
  • 5 years or more of experience
