About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Electrical Specialist to join our team at New 5 Electrical Inc. as a key member of our electrical services department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment, including switchgear, transformers, and electrical motors.
  • System Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with industrial electrical control systems and other related devices.
  • Code Compliance: Interpret electrical code specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Conduct preventive maintenance programs and maintain accurate records.
  • Design and Installation: Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and schematics to determine the layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in industrial electrical work.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work at heights, in cold/refrigerated environments, and in confined spaces.
  • Work Setting: Willing to travel to various locations.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work in a fast-paced environment.
