Job Title: Construction Trades Helper

Ontario Inc. is seeking a skilled Construction Trades Helper to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will assist in various tasks related to construction site operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the site.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Pave and rake asphalt to ensure a smooth surface.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse.
  • Remove rubble and other debris from the construction site.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
  • Direct traffic at or near the construction site to ensure a safe working environment.
Work Environment:

As a Construction Trades Helper, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work under pressure and in physically demanding conditions. The work site environment may include working outdoors, at heights, underground, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty conditions.

Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment with a regular schedule of 30 to 44 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
