About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our team at Wah Lai Yuen Bakery and Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they are clean and well-maintained.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train kitchen staff and helpers in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment for our customers and staff.
  • Operational Management: Manage kitchen operations to ensure that we are running efficiently and effectively.
