Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Heavy Duty Cleaner to join our team at FirstService Residential. As a Heavy Duty Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our properties, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and service restrooms, including restocking supplies and sanitizing surfaces
  • Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors and stairways, as well as dust and polish furniture and fixtures
  • Remove trash and recyclables, and maintain a clean and organized compactor room
  • Perform ground maintenance, including snow removal and salting of front entrances
  • Assist with moving garbage bins and other heavy equipment
  • Perform related work as assigned, including cleaning and maintaining equipment and supplies
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of experience in janitorial or facilities maintenance
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work at heights
  • Knowledge of standard methods and practices of the janitorial service
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently
