Senior Business Analyst, Global Transaction Banking Specialist

Scotiabank is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our Global Transaction Banking team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting various initiatives and data analysis to drive business growth and improvement.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and conduct analysis on business requirements to design improvement opportunities across CS&O.
- Analyze and interpret business data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and other analytics tools to enhance data visibility and support operational goals.
- Assist peers across GTB by providing support on process mapping, process discovery, and standardization of process to optimize business performance.
- Lead training sessions and provide guidance. Develop user guides, documentation, and reference materials to ensure knowledge retention.
- Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in banking operations, service / support or project capacity.
- University degree in business or technical field and/or equivalent work experience.
