The Global Anti-Money Laundering (GAML) group at The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada) is responsible for establishing the bank's global Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Anti-Terrorist Financing (ATF) program to ensure compliance with regulatory expectations in all jurisdictions where the bank operates. The Operations and Solutions Support (OSS) Team, part of the Global AML (GAML) unit, is seeking a technical Senior Business Analyst to join the Canadian Team. The role involves delivering business requirements and test planning, preparation, and execution across a range of projects, with a strong focus on SQL scripts. Responsibilities also include leading complex projects, mentoring junior analysts, and driving process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business requirements and test plans for AML-related projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business solutions and drive process improvements
- Lead complex projects and mentor junior analysts to ensure successful project outcomes
- Design and implement SQL scripts to support AML-related projects
- Provide recommendations and insights to stakeholders on AML-related matters
Requirements:
- Proficient in SQL, SAS, VBA, and analytics
- Experience in AML transaction monitoring & customer risk rating
- Ability to perform deep dive investigations and provide recommendations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Seven or more years of related business analysis experience
- Undergraduate degree in a quantitative field
