We are seeking dedicated Junior Pipe Installation Technicians to become part of our workforce. The primary responsibilities of our Junior Technicians include the layout, assembly, installation, and upkeep of piping systems and associated apparatus for diverse applications. PROJECT/POSITION SPECIFICS

  • Local candidates are preferred.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Interpret and analyze construction drawings and schematics.
  • Support experienced pipefitters in the installation of equipment.
  • Assemble pipes and valves effectively.
  • Prepare pipes and fittings for installation tasks.
  • Conduct hydrotesting, assembly, and installation of pipe spools.
  • Measure, cut, and thread pipes accurately.
  • Install supports, valves, piping, and control systems efficiently.
  • Replace worn components as necessary.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Preference for local candidates.
  • Registered with the relevant apprenticeship authority.
  • Prior experience in the oilfield sector is advantageous.
  • Experience in construction is beneficial.
  • Certifications in H2S Alive, WHIMIS, CSTS, and Standard First Aid are required.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maintain prolonged standing.
  • Proficient in the use of small tools.
  • Strong team collaboration skills.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Experience with operating equipment is a plus.
  • Additional certifications such as fall protection, gas monitor training, and confined space training are considered advantageous.
