Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Concrete Finishing Specialist to join our team at Con Site Construction Limited. This role involves working primarily outdoors on various projects including roads, bridges, sidewalks, and curbs.

Qualifications
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years in concrete finishing.
Work Environment

The position is physically demanding and requires handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, and kneeling. Candidates should be prepared to stand for extended periods and pay close attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fill hollows and remove imperfections on freshly poured concrete.
  • Operate power vibrators to compact concrete effectively.
  • Level the top surface of concrete according to specified grades and depths.
  • Apply desired finishes to concrete surfaces using both hand and power tools.
  • Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures as required.
  • Apply hardening and sealing agents to cure surfaces.
  • Waterproof, damp proof, and restore concrete surfaces.
  • Repair, resurface, and replace damaged sections of concrete structures.
Materials Used

Familiarity with various colors and sealers is essential.

Travel Information

Travel expenses will be covered by the employer.

Physical Requirements

Candidates must be able to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and be physically fit to meet the demands of the job.

Tools and Equipment

Steel-toed safety boots are required for this position.
