We are seeking a highly skilled Contracts Analyst to join our team at Montrose Environmental Group. As a key member of our Engineering and Consulting Center of Excellence, you will be responsible for managing contracts, analyzing financial data, and providing exceptional support to our operations team.
Key Responsibilities- Contract Intake and Review: Receive and review incoming contract requests, analyze terms and conditions, and identify potential risks or areas requiring clarification.
- Contract Management System and Analysis: Utilize Workday to efficiently store, track, and manage contracts, input contract data accurately, and maintain detailed records.
- Communication and Liaison: Communicate effectively with internal and external parties regarding contract updates, clarifications, and approvals.
- Process Efficiency and Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the contract setup process and assist in developing and implementing new procedures and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2+ years of experience in project accounting, financial management, or related roles, preferably in a project-based environment.
- Understanding of accounting principles and practices, including revenue recognition, cost accounting, and project budgeting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, with experience in project accounting modules preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
