About the Role
We're seeking a skilled Contracts Analyst to join our team, reporting to our Team Lead, Contracts & Revenue. In this role, you'll be responsible for a full range of activities, including contract intake and review, contract management system and analysis, communication and liaison, and process efficiency and improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and review incoming contract requests from project managers, analyzing contract terms and conditions for completeness and accuracy.
- Utilize Workday to efficiently store, track, and manage contracts, inputting contract data accurately and maintaining detailed records.
- Monitor projects-at-risk, providing feedback to operations on requirements to convert to billable projects, and monitor contract value relative to revenue recognized.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external parties regarding contract updates, clarifications, and approvals.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the contract setup process, assisting in developing and implementing new procedures and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2+ years of experience in project accounting, financial management, or related roles, preferably in a project-based environment.
- Understanding of accounting principles and practices, including revenue recognition, cost accounting, and project budgeting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, with experience in project accounting modules preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
