Emco Corporation is seeking an Associate General Counsel to join its legal team. As a trusted advisor to the company's Profit Centres, National Support Centre, and Leadership Team, you will provide strategic legal guidance and support to drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal advice on a wide range of topics, including corporate governance, commercial agreements, employment matters, and regulatory compliance.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts, leases, and other agreements.
  • Monitor and interpret legislative and regulatory developments, providing guidance and training to the team.
  • Align business objectives, programs, and systems with Emco's strategies, policies, and core values.
  • Build strong relationships with Profit Centre Managers, Region Managers, and National Support Centre.
Requirements
  • Bilingual (English and French) with strong oral and written proficiency.
  • Minimum of five years' experience in corporate and commercial law.
  • In-house counsel experience is an asset.
  • Strong leadership and creative thinking skills.
