Emco Corporation is seeking an experienced Associate General Counsel to join its legal team. As a trusted advisor to the company's Profit Centres, National Support Centre, and Leadership Team, you will provide strategic legal guidance and support to drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal advice on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, including leasing, commercial agreements, and corporate governance.
  • Support the development and implementation of company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate legal risks.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners and vendors.
  • Stay up-to-date with legislative and regulatory developments and provide guidance on compliance.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate and commercial law.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong leadership and creative thinking skills.
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset.
