- Food Preparation and Service: Prepare and serve specialty food at customers' tables, ensuring a high level of quality and presentation.
- Point of Sale: Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings.
- Menu Knowledge: Describe menu items including daily specials for customers, and advise on menu selections to enhance their dining experience.
- Table Maintenance: Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
- Guest Interaction: Greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages.
- Order Taking: Take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff to ensure prompt and accurate service.
- Special Needs: Assist clients/guests with special needs, providing exceptional customer service.
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, maintaining a high level of energy and productivity.
- Language: Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues in English.
- Work Schedule: Work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends, up to 35 to 40 hours per week.
