B.C. Cafe Ltd. is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to oversee the daily operations of our food service department. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Oversee the activities of food service staff, including preparation, portioning, and serving of food.
- Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and guidance to staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Manage Inventory and Budget: Prepare budget and cost estimates, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Ensure Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Address Customer Concerns: Respond to customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
Work Term: Permanent
Work Language: English
Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
