Position Title: Security Team Lead

Overview:
The Security Team Lead plays a pivotal role in overseeing the security operations within the designated facility. This position is integral to ensuring a safe and secure environment for all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and mentor Security Officers, ensuring high standards of performance and conduct.
  • Implement and monitor adherence to established security protocols and procedures.
  • Develop and manage shift schedules to ensure adequate coverage and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to maintain staff readiness and compliance with security standards.
  • Document and address security incidents, providing thorough investigations and reports.
  • Engage in proactive security patrols to deter and respond to potential threats.
  • Collaborate with management to communicate any security concerns or operational issues.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a security role, preferably within a healthcare setting.
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field such as law enforcement or security management is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with applicable legislation, including the Trespass to Property Act and Mental Health Act.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven reliability and professionalism in previous roles.
  • Experience in a supervisory capacity is preferred.
  • Possession of a valid security guard license and certifications in First Aid and CPR Level C.
  • Completion of immunization requirements and proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
