Assistant Store Manager

JD Sports is a leading global omnichannel retailer of Sports, Fashion, and Outdoor brands. We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at our CF Promenades St-Bruno location.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure operational excellence by performing managerial tasks, such as scheduling, maintaining inventory, and evaluating employee performance.
- Coach and motivate the team to deliver an excellent customer experience and drive sales.
- Train and grow a team focused on delivering outrageous experiences to our community through coaching and feedback.
- Deliver sales, customer experience, merchandising, visual, and operational expectations.
- Act as a partner between customers, sales associates, and store leadership.
- Support key initiatives as empowered by and in partnership with the Store Manager.
- Take a proactive approach to growing the business through community outreach.
- Minimum 2 years of retail experience.
- Experience supervising, training, and coaching sales associates.
- Strong cognitive and mathematical skills, including problem analysis, decision making, and financial analysis.
- Resourceful and versatile in responding to changing demands and opportunities in a rapidly changing omni-channel retail environment.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
