Role Summary: The Training Coordinator plays a pivotal role in implementing proposed enhancements to processes, systems, and product designs. This position requires a deep understanding of production, systems, and procurement activities, ensuring that all changes and modifications are accurately recorded for effective management oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the maintenance, communication, education, implementation, and enhancement of the Engineering Change Request (ECR) and Engineering Change Order (ECO) processes as integral components of the Product Life Cycle (PLC) for product development and Bill of Materials (BOM) management.
  • Engage with users to establish a robust change-reporting procedure and prepare directives for change authorization and documentation by company personnel.
  • Collaborate with department managers to gather additional insights or clarify policies and procedures regarding changes in product design or processes.
  • Coordinate product configurations with Operations, Product, Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure the accuracy and currency of BOMs within the Arena system.
  • Serve as the primary contact for content management, overseeing the entry process and addressing BOM escalations within the Tactical Head Solutions Line of Business.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Familiarity with principles, theories, and concepts pertinent to process and configuration management is advantageous.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools is essential.
  • Must meet the qualifications for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program.
