Job Title: Physiotherapist Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist Assistant to join our team at Back In Motion. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will provide high-quality care to our residents in a Long-Term Care Home in Owen Sound area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement treatment plans set by the supervising Physiotherapist to progress residents' functional independence.
  • Conduct group exercise classes for residents.
  • Maintain and clean rehabilitation equipment.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement programs.
Qualifications:
  • 2-year Diploma from an accredited OTA/PTA Program or equivalent.
  • Completion of satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) upon hire.
  • Up-to-date on required vaccinations.
  • Knowledge/experience in evidence-based musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiorespiratory practice.
