Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for administering evaluative tests, assessing patients' physical abilities, and examining patients to make decisions on tests and procedures. You will also supervise technical and support staff, order and purchase equipment, and plan physiotherapy programs. Additionally, you will select appropriate exercises, apparatus, and manipulations, maintain clinical and progress reports, and confer with other health professionals.
Responsibilities:- Administer evaluative tests to assess patients' physical abilities
- Examine patients to make decisions on tests and procedures
- Supervise technical and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care
- Order and purchase equipment as needed
- Plan physiotherapy programs to meet the needs of patients
- Select appropriate exercises, apparatus, and manipulations for patients
- Maintain clinical and progress reports to track patient progress
- Confer with other health professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or related field
- Experience in physiotherapy an asset
- Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
- Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulatory Boards Examination
