Job Summary

Closing the Gap Healthcare Group is seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team. As a Physiotherapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and group patient treatment programs to promote function and effectively cope with limitations in movement
  • Notify the supervising Physiotherapist of changes in patient health status, withdrawal of consent, non-compliance, or any difficulties in implementing assigned tasks
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records and statistics for medico-legal purposes
  • Perform physical lifting and other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Graduation from a recognized physiotherapy assistant or rehabilitation assistant program or other equivalent program
  • Proven track record of being accountable for multiple deliverables, reporting, and high-quality performance
  • Strong focus on safety and ethical standards
  • Ability to build and maintain customer satisfaction
  • Experience in independent problem-solving and recognizing when support from peers and supervisors is needed
