About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Process Analyst to join our team at Alberta Recycling Management Authority (ARMA). As a key member of our EPR Operations team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and analysis of business processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness in our Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Process Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of business processes and data workflows to identify areas of opportunity and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Data Analysis: Collect and perform analyses of data sets related to EPR program volumes, including material flows and logistics.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to research issues in the functionality and interoperability of EPR integration.
  • Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation to ensure clear communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Process Optimization: Support the Director in identifying areas for process optimization and efficiency, recommend process improvements, and assist in their implementation.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, or related field.
  • Experience: 3 – 5+ years of experience and proven results with business/data analytics and relevant project management experience is considered an asset.
  • Skills: Skilled in using Office 365 applications, with strong Excel experience. Proven analytical abilities, including translating data into actionable insights, and experience with Power BI and other data analytic software.
  • Competencies: Proficient in requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation. Knowledge of business process optimization and workflow analysis. Demonstrated ability to work independently. Meticulous, autonomous, show initiative and have good analytical skills.
