Job Summary:

The Store Manager will be responsible for the overall operation of our retail store, including managing staff, controlling inventory, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Store Operations: Direct and control daily store operations, including managing staff, inventory, and customer service.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, hire, and supervise staff, as well as conduct performance reviews and oversee payroll administration.
  • Inventory Management: Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale, as well as implement inventory control software.
  • Marketing and Sales: Develop and implement marketing strategies, study market research and trends, and determine merchandise and services to be sold.
  • Financial Management: Plan budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and determine staffing requirements.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
Work Environment:

The Store Manager will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure and handle heavy loads.
