Corporate Controller Opportunity

WECO Electrical Connectors Inc., a leading manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Corporate Controller to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in driving financial management and empowering a team to achieve corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and support a global finance team, overseeing the full accounting process, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory costing, and payroll.
  • Prepare consolidated monthly and annual financial reports for 6 legal entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax and statutory requirements.
  • Develop and implement effective internal controls to maintain the integrity of day-to-day accounting, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial data.
  • Manage 2 direct reports, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of accounting tasks.
  • Collaborate with the CFO to develop and implement financial strategies, driving business growth and profitability.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in a senior accounting role in a multi-location manufacturing environment.
  • Advanced level in Excel, with proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
  • Fluency in French (written and spoken) and English (written and spoken), with the ability to communicate effectively with global teams.
  • Strong emotional intelligence, with the ability to recognize and manage emotions, both individually and in groups.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, with a strong understanding of financial principles and regulations.
