Job Title: Factory Maintenance Worker

Toute Sweet Cakes and Pastries Ltd. is seeking a reliable and skilled Factory Maintenance Worker to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our factory by performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and upkeep.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and cleaning of hallways, floors, and stairs. Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and waste. Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Housekeeping: Empty trash cans and other waste containers. Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings. Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
  • Physical Demands: Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies. Perform safety and security checks. Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
  • Work Conditions: Work in a fast-paced factory environment with repetitive tasks and physically demanding conditions.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
