Hotel Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Operations Supervisor to join our team at Ramada Merritt. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hotel, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our hotel runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent guest experience.
- Establish work schedules and procedures to optimize productivity and efficiency.
- Perform same duties as workers supervised to stay connected with the team and understand their needs.
- Prepare and submit reports to management on key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality to drive continuous improvement.
- Assist clients/guests with special needs to ensure their comfort and satisfaction.
- Co-ordinate, assign and review work to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies to ensure a skilled and knowledgeable team.
- Maintain operation of computer systems, equipment, machinery and arrange repair work to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
- Requisition materials and supplies to ensure that the hotel has the necessary resources to operate effectively.
- Staff in various areas of responsibility to lead and manage.

- Develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses and organizations.
- Provides staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers.
- Applies hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities.
- Offers mentorship programs that pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees.
