Our Earth Sciences and Engineering division excels in site planning, spatial data analysis, digital terrain modeling, subsurface investigations, rock mechanics, underground construction, geotechnical laboratory services, flood prediction, and water resource management.

The Hydrotechnical team within our Earth Science & Engineering group provides civil engineering design expertise across various projects. Their capabilities encompass the entire project lifecycle, including scoping, conceptual design, feasibility studies, detailed engineering, construction, and project oversight.

We are currently seeking a Water Resource Engineer to support our dynamic team in addressing current and future project demands.

The Water Resource Engineer will play a key role in managing projects related to:

  • Surface water management
  • Water balance and final void studies in mining projects
  • Catchment hydrology
  • Mine water management

Key responsibilities include:

  • Engaging with clients to understand their requirements and identify how we can assist
  • Preparing reports on findings and proposals
  • Contributing to engineering, operational, and cost estimations

We encourage candidates with the following qualifications to apply:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • A collaborative and inclusive approach to work
  • Preferred: Licensed engineer in Alberta
  • Experience in the industrial and mining sectors
  • Previous experience in hydraulic flood modeling is advantageous
