Our client, a leading construction group, is seeking a skilled Contract Administrator to join their team for a major infrastructure project in Toronto.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the preparation and submission of interim progress claims and final accounts to ensure timely payments.
  • Oversee subcontract progress payment claims, variations, contractual claims, and final accounts per subcontract terms.
  • Undertake procurement and negotiation of civil, engineering, supply, and construction contracts.
  • Prepare and negotiate Subcontract Agreements and their terms and conditions.
  • Ensure project managers and staff comply with commercial requirements in contracts, adhering to policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders, providing support on contract administration matters and ensuring contractual documents are properly prepared and approved.
  • Manage disputes or major claims with subcontractors or the Client and provide contractual advice to teams.
  • Assist in preparing monthly reports, manage cost-related information and reports, and analyze financial data to identify trends and recommend actions.

Requirements:

  • Engineering Degree or Quantity Surveyor background
  • Exposure to claims
