About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at Truphan Construction Ltd. as a Construction Worker.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from construction sites.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Clean and lubricate cranes to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Site Preparation: Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades to prepare the site for construction.
  • Mixing and Pouring: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt to complete construction tasks.
  • Craning Operations: Operate gantry cranes to load and unload ship cargo at port side.
  • Assistance: Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction and assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
  • Machinery Operation: Operate bridge or overhead cranes to lift, move, and place plant machinery and materials.
  • Construction Tasks: Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Site Cleanup: Level earth to fine grade specifications and remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Site Safety: Direct traffic at or near construction sites and clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Physical Demands: Perform physically demanding tasks that require heavy lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in work.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with the construction team to achieve project goals.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English is the primary language used in the workplace.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
