Position Overview
Alimentiv 2 is seeking a remote IT Project Coordinator. This role is pivotal in overseeing the effective planning, execution, and management of various intricate infrastructure and computer system initiatives within the IT Department.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management- Oversee the lifecycle of assigned IT and complex systems projects, ensuring timely execution and completion.
- Prepare and present detailed estimates of required efforts, costs, and timelines for proposed initiatives.
- Establish Project Charters, confirming alignment with business objectives and system strategies.
- Coordinate necessary resources by collaborating with system owners and technical experts.
- Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and corporate policies throughout all project activities.
- Monitor project costs and ensure alignment with established budgets.
- Identify project risks and collaborate with stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies.
- Manage additional corporate projects as required by organizational needs.
- Assign and oversee interdisciplinary project tasks, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Provide constructive feedback on team and project performance to relevant stakeholders.
- Lead the development and revision of Quality System policies and procedures.
- Ensure effective training is delivered in line with project timelines.
- Manage the creation and maintenance of project-related documents and tools.
- Develop improved project methodologies and guidelines based on retrospectives.
- Facilitate vendor negotiations for system purchases and changes in project scope.
- Act as the primary liaison throughout the project lifecycle, managing stakeholder expectations.
- Monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Plan and execute updates to information security framework documents.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, addressing compliance gaps as necessary.
- Conduct third-party risk assessments for IT vendors.
- Analyze vendor responses to ensure adequacy of controls and address any identified gaps.
- Collaborate with vendor managers to maintain consistency in risk mitigation strategies.
- A Bachelor's degree with 4-6 years of relevant experience and a PMP certification.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Project Management Software.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking abilities.
- Experience in the Life Sciences sector is advantageous.
- Vendor negotiation experience is a plus.
- This is a home-based position.
