About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Grocery Store Associate at Porter Creek Super A Foods. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Merchandising and Stocking: Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves, facing merchandise, and rotating stock.
  • Operations: Assist with receiving and processing inventory, including unloading trucks and stocking shelves.
  • Cash Handling: Operate a cash register, handle customer transactions, and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals, resolve customer complaints, and maintain a positive store environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of retail experience.
  • Work Setting: Supermarket/grocery store environment.
  • Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
