Position Summary:
In the role of Head of Internship Programs, you will oversee a talented team of researchers committed to establishing a sustainable pipeline in Immunology, tackling various modalities from concept to IND in autoimmune disorders.
Your responsibilities will include:# Developing and implementing the immunology portfolio strategy while ensuring alignment with departmental scientific goals.
# Managing research initiatives, personnel, and resource allocation effectively.
# Collaborating with the R&D PMO to synchronize cross-functional activities, ensuring strategic coherence and optimal resource utilization.
# Assessing project plans and data, providing scientific and organizational direction to the department.
# Mentoring and developing talent, offering constructive feedback, training opportunities, and exposure to diverse assignments.
The ideal candidate will possess a PhD and over 10 years of relevant experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry, particularly in immune oncology and/or immunology.
# A proven track record of scientific innovation, demonstrated through publications, patents, and presentations at conferences.# Strong leadership and management capabilities, with an emphasis on mentoring and cultivating high-performing teams.
# Aptitude for addressing complex scientific challenges with practical research strategies and efficient execution.
# A proactive individual with a keen sense of scientific inquiry, creativity, analytical skills, and ethical integrity.
