Job Title: Drywall Taper

Prizma Drywall Ltd. is seeking a skilled Drywall Taper to join our team. As a Drywall Taper, you will be responsible for applying, leveling, and smoothing coats of plaster to create a smooth surface.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to create a smooth surface
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for plastering
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife
  • Finish corners and angles and create decorative designs in the finish coat, if required
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets
  • Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow the coat to dry
  • Trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces
Work Environment:

As a Drywall Taper, you will work at heights, in dusty and noisy environments. You will be required to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.

Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Panjabi; Punjabi language skills
  • Ability to work at heights, in dusty and noisy environments
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods
