Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper to join our team at Western Fuels Ltd.. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting processes.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role
Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare payroll cheques
  • Assess fixed assets and manage depreciation
  • Maintain comprehensive financial records and balance various accounts through both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Oversee general ledgers and prepare financial statements
  • Post journal entries accurately
  • Compile other statistical, financial, and accounting reports as needed
  • Prepare tax returns in compliance with regulations
  • Generate trial balances of accounts
  • Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy
