We are seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and ensure accuracy in our accounting processes. This role is crucial for maintaining the financial health of our organization.
Educational Requirements- Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is mandatory.
- This position involves on-site customer service interactions.
- Calculate and prepare payroll cheques.
- Assess fixed assets and manage depreciation schedules.
- Maintain comprehensive financial records and balance various accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
- Oversee general ledgers and prepare financial statements.
- Post journal entries accurately.
- Generate statistical, financial, and accounting reports as required.
- Prepare and file tax returns.
- Compile trial balances of accounts.
- Reconcile financial accounts regularly.
- Familiarity with accounting software is essential.
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, QuickBooks, and SAP (FI/CO / HR / MM / OT SD).
- A basic security clearance is required for this position.
- Must demonstrate attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Capability to work effectively under pressure.
- Strong accuracy and dependability.
- Client-focused with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding oral and written communication abilities.
- Flexible, organized, and reliable team player.
- Sound judgment and efficient work habits.
- Minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience is preferred.
- This is a permanent position requiring a commitment of 35 hours per week.
- Work language: English.
