About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Tire Repair Technician to join our team at H M T T R U C K S A L E S C E N T R E L T D. as a key member of our maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist mechanics and perform other duties as directed to ensure the efficient operation of our vehicle maintenance services.
  • Change engine oil and lubricate running gears or moving parts of automobiles, trucks, or heavy equipment to maintain optimal vehicle performance.
  • Provide on-site services to our customers, ensuring their vehicles are repaired and maintained to the highest standards.
  • Repair and balance tires to ensure safe and efficient vehicle operation.
  • Replace oil, air, and fuel filters on motor vehicles, trucks, and heavy equipment to maintain optimal performance and extend vehicle lifespan.
Work Environment

Our work site environment is dynamic, with dusty and noisy conditions. You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Ability to distinguish between colours and possess attention to detail is essential.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye co-ordination are necessary for performing tasks efficiently.
  • Physically demanding work is required, with standing for extended periods and lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs) as part of the job.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills is required to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a similar role is an asset.
