Tire Repairer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Tire Repairer to join our team at H M T T R U C K S A L E S C E N T R E L T D. as a key member of our maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist mechanics and perform other duties as directed to ensure the efficient operation of our vehicle maintenance services.
  • Change engine oil and lubricate running gears or moving parts of automobiles, trucks, or heavy equipment to maintain optimal performance.
  • Provide on-site services to our customers, including tire repair and replacement, and oil and filter changes.
  • Repair and balance tires to ensure safe and reliable vehicle operation.
Work Environment:

Our work site environment is dusty, noisy, and may involve odours. You will be required to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to distinguish between colours and possess attention to detail.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye co-ordination are essential for this role.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.

Please note that this is a permanent position with a 35-hour workweek and English as the primary language of communication.
