Key Responsibilities

As a Driver - Operations Specialist at Woodbine Entertainment, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of various equipment and vehicles on our grounds. This includes:

  • Operating heavy equipment such as front-end loaders, Athey loaders, and self-propelled rollers
  • Safely driving cars and trucks, including pickups, vans, and stake trucks
  • Performing routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment
  • Conducting deliveries and pickups on and off premises
  • Responding to emergencies such as fire and water leaks
Job Specifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid class "DZ" driver's license
  • Solid knowledge of operating heavy equipment and vehicles
  • General knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety procedures and WHMIS
  • Basic verbal communication skills
  • Basic interpersonal skills
  • A minimum of 1 year driving experience in a similar environment
  • Qualification for an AGCO license
  • Ability to work shift work, weekends, and holidays as required
